And I’m not doing that either. All Vita trophy lists available Physically. In fact, if I were willing to shell out just ten bucks more, I could pick up the most infamous incomplete game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077. I’m just not sure I want to shell out fifty bucks for an incomplete game. The physics are said to have been much improved over MXGP 2019 (which I didn’t play), and the free-roam Compound (set on a lake in Norway) looks gorgeous. MXGP 2020 actually looks really fun for anyone who wants to rip through mud on a motorbike without actually getting dirty. There are post-launch additions mentioned toward the bottom of the page I linked, but the track editor seems like it was very much intended to be included with the game at launch. And the official MXGP website has some text dedicated to the feature, again, without any disclaimer saying it’s not a day-one feature. On top of that, the track editor is still listed as a feature on the official Milestone website, without any small-text warning saying the feature is “coming soon” or what have you. I also assume that the tagline “Infinite ways to have fun” is referring to this.

Especially considering the official launch trailer, which also came out today, mentions it specifically. That said, something about MXGP 2020 grabbed my attention, so I’ve been casually following it for the past couple months.īut the lack of track editor seems like a huge misstep.

I don’t pay attention to the motocross scene, I don’t watch races, and if I’m being completely honest, I don’t think I’ve ever even ridden a motorbike in real life. There are rumors that it will be coming in an update within the next week or so, but it’s not here yet. That said, the game also launched without one of its core features: MXGP 2020 has no track editor at the time of this writing. I guess Milestone just assumes the hardcore motocross folks are going to buy it either way. Oddly, the game launched with very little in the way of fanfare, hype, or really advertisement of any kind. Today marks the launch of MXGP 2020, the latest motocross sim from Milestone. The original article is posted below in its entirety.

Update: The track editor was added in a patch the day after launch.
